WGW HQ Address

We have had some enquiries about the WGW HQ address being correct or not due to Jo moving.

I would like to confirm that the address is still correct.

WGW April 2006 Dedication - Talhalla

This April’s WGW will be Dedicated to Tal Stoneheart aka Endel Öpik who died on the 21 November 2005.

WGW was a large part of Tal’s life, he’d attended every one except the first 2 or 3. He met his wife at WGW, became engaged at WGW and it only seems fitting that his memorial should be held at WGW.

The memorial service will be taking place on Tate Hill Sands, at approx 20:15, Sat 22nd April.

As a friend of Tal’s this is hard for me to announce, all I’m going to say is that there’s going to be a Tal shaped hole where there shouldn’t be one.

WGW Tickets & Bands

This just in from WGW HQ.

In a bid to keep EVERYBODY happy Jo decided she would release tickets when she had not only confirmed the line-up (or atleast most of it) but also had exchanged contracts with the bands.

Apologies that this is not yet done but you have our assurance it will be done very soon. Sometimes it is very difficult to please everyone and unfortunately no matter what happens it is the ones who are unhappy who shout the loudest.

Tickets will go on sale the minute we have exchanged contracts with the majority of the bands.

Also apologies to anyone who hasn’t yet recieved a reply from an email sent to Jo. Jo & Sam have recently moved house and have been having problems with BT regarding their broadband.
