As many of you know, the official WGW is no longer using The Met which sadly means our Thursday night Creamy charity night is no more.

This means a dawning of a new era as we move our Thursday night fundraising event to The Spa Cafe Bar.

Our first event is a fundraiser for the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. Sophies Mum, Sylvia Lancaster will be with us on the evening along with a plethora of official SOPHIE merchandise.

The Spa cafe Bar will be serving hot food until 11pm which is great for all of you just arriving on Thursday and finding everywhere closed and Whitby like a ghost town :)

We will also be offering a fast track Spa wristband system to anyone paying to get into the Sophie Fundraiser. You’ll be able to beat the queues and get your wristband early, with the added bonus that you wont have to leave the pub and traipse all the way up to the Spa to get it on Friday – bonus!

There’ll be a music quiz, a rafflle where you can win 2010 WGW & Sexy Sunday tickets and all kinds of shennanigins and of course the bar will be open until late! Rather than a banging disco, we’re aiming for a night where theres good music, you can meet up with friends, get something to eat have a few drinks and a bit of daftness whilst helping to raise money for a really good cause.

Lots of people have donated their time and equipment to the event for free, too many to mention here but in particular a big thanks to Old Goth for conjuring up some DJ’s and the Spa Management for giving us free hire of the premises.

We are looking for people to sell admission tickets on the door, sell raffle tickets, man the Info Stall and generally help run the night on a budget and gets lots of dosh from people! If you think you could even spare one hour please email info@topmum.co.uk
