WGW October 2008 Lineup
Halloween 08 WGW - Line Up Announcement - Just in from WGW HQ!
We have the pleasure of announcing that we have a big scoop for this WGW.
We have managed to book Specimen

Web: http://specimenbatcave.net/
Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/specimenofficial
Formed in Bristol, England in 1981, the band opened the notorious Batcave in London’s Soho in 1982, and invaded America dressed to kill in 1983. It’s been said many times before about a lot of artists but this really is a band that need no introduction, a unique group of musicians making a welcome return after more than 20 years away
The Rest of the line up is as follows:
Wayne Hussey

Web: http://www.themissionuk.com/
Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/missionuk
Biog: Singer, Guitarist and frontman of The Mission. Wayne formed The Mission with Craig Adams, Simon Hinkler and Mick Brown in 1985 after leaving The Sisters of Mercy. These days following the final ever gigs from The Mission, Wayne Hussey has gone solo.
Christian Death

Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/christiandeath
After a fair bit of speculation we can confirm that the Christian Death we have is fronted by Valor.
Voltaire

Web: http://www.voltaire.net
Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/voltairenyc
Voltaire is often described as a modern day renaissance man. He is a singer/ performer, creator of comic books, animation and toys.
As a musician, he is a songwriter whose music can best be described as a collection of murder ballads, tongue-in-cheek exercises in the macabre. Many know him for his song “Brains!” from the Cartoon Network show “The Grim Adventures of Billy And Mandy”.
Rezurex

Web: http://www.rezurexband.com/
Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/rezurex
Rezurex has risen from the grave and awoken the dead. A refreshing style of musical mayhem that stands alone in the current music scene, Rezurex brings back the roots of early 1950’s rock n’ roll and combines them with influences of the 1980’s that have long since been forgotten by mainstream music. Imagine the Strat Cats with a touch of modern day horrorpunk and you’re halfway there, not to be missed.
The Beauty of Gemina

Web: http://www.thebeautyofgemina.com /
Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/thebeautyofgemina/
Dark-wave moods, complex industrial sounds, technoid beats and brute rock attacks to romantic sleepy moments. Darkest tales sung by a charismatic voice, paced by hypnotic beats, tricky rhythms and ingenious bass lines.
More to be confirmed including exciting new fringe events…
**NEW** Bizarre Bazaar will now run Fri, Sat , Sunday at The Spa, Met, Leisure Centre & Rifle Club.
